Homemade Cold and Flu Tonic



Next time you feel a cold or flu coming on and don’t want to take liver toxic, over the counter medications, try this easy to make tonic. It’s very potent and can be taken as often as needed. Note: If you don't have a juicer, you can use a citrus reamer or fork to juice the lemon and simply grate the ginger and garlic and then squeeze through cheesecloth or a nut milk bag.

Cold Buster
Makes 1 serving

Prep Time: 10 minutes

1 lemon
2 inch piece of ginger
2 cloves garlic
½ cup or more hot water
Few drops stevia or raw honey to taste
1 drop oil of oregano
dash of cayenne pepper

Juice the ginger, lemon and garlic. Mix with hot water, sweetener, oregano oil, and cayenne.

Dilute with additional water if too intense. Sip slowly.
